I attended SLR Photography seminar last Sunday and it was organized by the Canon Marketing. It was held at Merdeka Palace’s banquet room.

It started out with all the technical stuffs about SLR cameras…most of you will probably fall asleep if I ever describe the technical stuffs here. haha. It was an interesting topic, though.

Then, Mr. Chua Keng Seng (a photographer who’ve travelled around, and was also featured in HWM Magazine. Not FHM. hehe) gave a mini lecture & demonstration on the Canon’s EOS and photography methods…and some more technical aspects of photography and slideshow of his photos.

The EOS cameras were so good that when you enlarge the picture, you can actually see the pores. shit…really visible till everyone had a good laugh. Anyway, the SLR camera that we brought could also view pores. haha.

We had lunch at the Italian restaurant downstairs courtesy of Canon Marketing and you know what I noticed? 80% of the people who attended the seminar are males. Where are the gals???

After lunch, we had photograph-ing session for about one and half hour at the poolside and garden. They brought in bikini-clad models and all the men started flashing their uber expensive camera and lenses. lol.

Tea break followed by a photography workshop before the seminar ended and it was a 9-hour day event on a Sunday.

gone with the fire July 29, 2006

A members-only The Sarawak Club in my hometown was burned to ashes. The pre-dawn fire completely destroyed the building’s structure in 40 minutes.

What remained of the fire was probably the swimming pool and pillars. sad story.

This was how the club house looked like back in 2005

And on July 27th, 2005…

It was an antique building which lived through the World War II and it was just a few minutes walk from my ex-school.

Is restoration necessary? Whichever decision they make, the original form of the historical landmark is gone forever *sniff*

Lance is a gay. He does look gay actually *spots his eyebrows*.

Lance Bass

Lance Bass

Apparently he has a boyfriend *gasps*

Ok enough, enough…

Pffftt. Gayness is like a trend these days….gays are like so hot or something lah until celebrities and everyday people admitted they’re gays and date guys. It’s either guys have been gays but kept quiet or they think being gays are uber cool because gays have the reputation for being macho and handsome (not all lah).

I don’t think our moms or grandmas [back in their 20s] ever had the fear that the guy they have a crush on or their boyfriend might secretly be gays (our descendants are lucky in some ways!).

According to statistic around the world, we have more women than men (due to men going to wars in WWII and didn’t survive?), and now we have men who are not available to women…oh-oh…
